This natural desire to create accompanied me throughout my studies in fashion design and graphic arts, but the true search for my own artistic voice began when I went out to explore the world. For four years, Brighton, England, became my home, where I drew portraits and caricatures in soft pastel right on the street. This precious experience taught me not only the craft itself, but especially the ability to quickly capture the pure emotion and uniqueness of every person.
Upon returning to Slovakia, I briefly worked as a photo retoucher, which gave me a deep sense for lighting and detail. This naturally led to my decision to step out on my own as a freelance illustrator.
Over time, I transitioned my work into the digital world, which opened doors to wonderful projects. I have had the honor of illustrating packaging for a British cosmetics brand, bringing visual life to a Slovak motivational book for women, and fully illustrating a children's book that remains a project very close to my heart. Another fascinating chapter was spending a year working on a feature-length animated film as a 2D cleanup animator, where I combined patience with precision.
In my work, I focus mainly on character design and animal motifs. My style could be described as semi-realistic. I pride myself on polished detail, yet I always strive to keep the drawing dynamic, fresh, and full of charm. I love working with warm light and colors, and I constantly expand my horizons by studying various forms and materials.
Art is a continuous journey of discovery for me, and with every new project, I look for a way to put a piece of my heart into it. Today, I live and create in Slovakia, spending my days working with my little dog by my side, and I am always open to new creative challenges and collaborations that I can bring to life through my art.
