My name is Andrea, and art has always been the most natural way for me to express myself.
My work is not about imitating reality, it's about feelings. Stylized characters in a semirealistic style, mostly centered on feminine themes, with soft lines, vivid colors and atmosphere. Gentle, dreamy scenes alternate with expressive portraits built around facial expression. Animals and nature often find their way into my paintings, adding a playful touch to the mood.
As a freelance illustrator, I've worked on projects I'm proud of, including illustrations for a cosmetics brand, a book on personal growth for women, and a year as a 2D animator on an award-winning feature film. I also create illustrations on commission, including custom dog portraits for clients, always aiming to keep each piece dynamic and full of charm.
I live and create in Slovakia, with my little dog by my side, and I'm always open to new creative collaborations.
